Another smaller competitor, Zimbra comes from roots in the e-mail world and has expanded into office productivity applications (though still with a communications focus). Zimbra Documents and Zimbra Collaboration Suite adds the ability to create and share documents while Zimbra Desktop lets users take their Web-based applications and documents and use them offline.
