  • Wait! You never know when a crisis will occur. Donít find yourself unprepared and uncovered.
  • Consider Self-Insuring any part of your Worker's Compensation Risk. A State Compensation Fund is available in every state and the costs are minimal compared to the possible risks of being self-insured.
  • Fail to recognize employees. The difference between employees and contract workers is clear and the penalties for not acknowledging employees are high!
  • Overlook ongoing employee training when it comes to maintaining workplace safety.
  • Allow your insurance policies to lapse. You can't afford not to have insurance!
  • Work with insurance providers without checking their ratings.
  • Occult information from your insurance agent. Your agent needs to know everything about your company to create the most inclusive policies.
  • Forget about flood or earthquake insurance. If you are in an area where flooding or earthquakes are possible, you canít afford to not be covered.

Following these simple steps can help you find the best insurance for any eventuality.
