3.) For politicians, email marketing provides far more interactivity and versatility than any other medium. For example, it is easy to embed into each message pictures and videos of the politician on the campaign trail. What better way is there to galvanize voters than by bringing a stirring speech from the candidate right into their email inboxes? In addition, each message can serve as an "all-in-one" guide to the politician. Offer not only videos and images but also list the candidate's schedule and where he or she will be appearing as well as a link to the campaign's homepage.

4.) Email marketing of politicians provides an unfiltered and unedited message. It's difficult to summarize a campaign during a 30-second TV ad. And the negativity of campaign ads on television has been turning off voters for two generations. Take off in a new direction with email marketing. Use it to go in-depth about the candidate's views and really capture votersí attention.

5.) The ratio of investment-to-return is unmatched. Buying and implementing email marketing software will cost a candidate a fraction of the money and time he or she would need to place ads in newspapers or on the airwaves. Anyone with a minimal amount of computer experience can handle the software. This means campaign money can be spent on the actual campaign!

Using the email marketing of politicians as a campaign tool may sound unusual. But in the 21st century, the old way of doing things no longer works. Candidates who use email marketing to spread the word and introduce themselves to voters will benefit far more than those who do not. Purchase the software and start running a modern campaign today!
