Generally speaking, shopping for formal wear has been a pretty easy and predictable process for women. They'd keep a close eye out on the newspaper for the latest circulars and ads displaying the latest sale items and additions and/or window shop and take a leisurely stroll through the store when time allowed.

But spare time is at a premium these days and the traditional methods of advertising and marketing are no longer effective for either a business or a consumer. For women's clothing stores, email marketing is the way to go! Here are five reasons why, for women's clothing stores, an email marketing campaign will generate plenty of results for everyone involved:

1.) It's inexpensive and easy to operate
The email marketing software necessary to begin such a program is inexpensive and a far better use of financial resources than any other type of advertising. The software will fit into any budget and can be managed by anyone with even a minimal amount of computer experience. There's no need to worry about massaging the finances in order to hire additional staff for a women's clothing store’s email marketing plan.

2.) Make a direct hit!
Email marketing provides a direct impact that no other marketing or advertising medium can match. It's far too simple for people to flip past a newspaper ad or change the channel when commercials air on the television or the radio. But not only is it less expensive for women's clothing stores to implement an email marketing campaign than it is to purchase ads in traditional media, but these messages will be delivered straight to the recipient's inbox. This in turn makes it far likelier that they will be absorbed.
