3.) Personalize and customize a message!
Those operating the email marketing software can also take advantage of the personalization and customization options available. Every message can include the recipient's name in the subject line and greeting. Then, keep the customer's attention by embedding a video in the body of the message. Display footage of the items on the shelves as well as shoppers in the store interacting with employees. Give women an idea of what their shopping experience will be like at the maternity store and they will be more likely to visit!

4.) Social media makes for a greater impact
The email marketing software also allows people to easily send the message to friends and loved ones—i.e. the modern version of word of mouth. Women with infant children know how challenging pregnancy can be and want to do what they can to make pregnancy easier for those who are now expecting. If they enjoyed shopping at certain maternity stores, they'll want to tell other pregnant women about it. And with email marketing for maternity stores, they can do so by forwarding the message as well as by sharing it via social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter. It doesn't matter which medium is selected—it takes just a click to forward the message along and allow the "next generation" of pregnant women to learn all about the maternity store!

5.) Give customers an "all-in-one" reference tool!
These emails also provide customers an easy reference guide. Each message can contain the store's vital information—such as hours of operation, location and phone number—that women can quickly access. There will be no more searching for a phone book or a slip of paper with the aforementioned information—not with email marketing for maternity stores making things easier for both the stores and the pregnant women they serve!
