Allen has two posts up so far, laying out the basics of his GTD system. The latest details the importance of capturing ideas before they disappear:
Why is that so important? Because your mind is a lousy office. When you have a thought about something you want or should do, it is usually so simple and so obvious when you're thinking of it, you're sure you'll never forget it or that you'll remember it in the right moment. Then two minutes later, with the next thing on your mind you're sure you'll never forget, you've forgotten that you've forgotten the first thing!
We highly recommend giving Allen's GTD system a try. A good place to start his new Huffington Post blog. But if you want to go deeper, there's an entire sector of the blogosphere that lives by -- and regularly blogs about -- his principles, including the mother of all GTD-inspired blog 43 Folders.
