Where to start?

This week, Verizon Wireless rolled out a new $29.99 plan for unlimited email and Web access for smartphone users, a good deal because Verizon has the best data network going.
Verizon's data doings aren't limited to smartphones. You can also get a wireless data card -- the kind that fits into a laptop to provide DSL-like speeds on a wireless basis -- for greatly reduced prices as well, starting at just $35 per month.
Also this week, AT&T introduced a new offering that is essentially a family plan for small businesses. The family members, in this case, are employees all of whom share a pool of minutes. Prices start at $60 for up to five users and a pool of 700 minutes.
Time to check that cell plan.
