We wrote about blogging tool Zemanta earlier this spring. It's got a lot going for it: integrating with blogging tool WordPress, it provides related links, photos and videos which, with a click can be quickly added to a blog post.

The value in this is obvious. Blogging is hard work; anything that makes it not only faster and easier but also * better * is more than welcome.

This week, Zemanta released a new version of the service. New features include easier "re-blogging" of content from other blogs and a new "popular links" page that makes it easy to find hot stories to blog and link to.

I like the concept - it has the potential to really add depth and interest to blog posts. The idea of adding related links, articles and images is a really good one.
