According to a statement attributed to Salesforce.com posted at the blog CRM Success, the problems--one in the morning and one in the afternoon--involved one of the company's four global database clusters. It says that everything returned to normal after the Tuesday afternoon outage. The posting contained no information on the number of customers impacted.
