| Travel-Agent-In-A-Box TripIt.com Gets Better |

We thought online travel planning site TripIt deserved attention from the start, giving it high marks in our recent review of online travel resources.
I recently planned a trip with the tool. Once you sign up, you simply email-forward your travel itineraries (flight, hotel, car, etc) to the site and it creates a unified travel document for you.
For small businesses who can't afford a travel agency -- and most large businesses do without them today too -- TripIt is a great resource for simplifying travel planning
Today, the site rolled out some new capabilities to make it even more useful, most notably easy integration with your calendar. Says TechCrunch, which has the details:
TripIt now syncs itineraries with any personal calendar that supports iCal, including Google Calendar, Outlook 2007, Plaxo, and others. What this means is that TripIt users no longer need to manually update their calenders with trip information; TripIt now does it all, adding details such as flights, hotels, rental cars, restaurant reservations to supported apps.
