For about 3 weeks, I have been trying to purchase an iPhone for my wife. On 3 occasions, I have gone to the Apple store here in NY only to find they were sold out. So, I thought I might have better luck in an AT&T store in Charlotte, NC, where I was recently on vacation. Instead, they were on backorder for 10-21 days! Why should it be so hard to get one of these phones? Do you need to literally camp out in front of the store to meet the delivery truck to be sure you can get one?
Has anyone gone so far as to get a BlackBerry instead of an iPhone because of this? As for me, I'll keep trying. |
