Quite often you can get an Admin position in a HR department of a company or government agency. This will allow you to see what HR is all about. Secondly, get your degree. This is the only way you will move up. You may also want to attend PIRA and SHRM meetings. These are the two professional organizations for the HR industry. If you want to get into Organizational Development or Training, try ASTD. Good Luck...
