Deirdre Crossan
Symantec Small Business Programs Manager
Deirdre Crossan is responsible for setting Symantec’s strategy in the small business market. Since joining the company in April 2004, Deirdre has launched a number of educational programs to help small businesses better understand security, including Symantec’s IT Security for Small Businesses book and the Symantec Small Business Security Guide.
She is a member of Symantec’s Global Marketing Council and actively represents the voice of small business within the company. Deirdre speaks fluent French. She began her career in Paris, where she worked at Dantz Development (now EMC Dantz). There, she helped establish Dantz’s SMB distribution channels throughout Europe. She transferred to Dantz’s headquarters in California in 1998 where she helped launch the company's Windows initiative.
A native of Ireland, Deirdre studied business at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
