Geary Broadnax is a recognized expert in the development of hosted sales force automation and customer relationship management software serving small business to enterprise companies. He joined Dovarri after a successful career at Reliant Energy Communications, an exchange carrier that provides the Houston metropolitan area with a combination of voice, data transport, and Internet services, where he was senior vice president.
Previously, Broadnax founded Insync Internet Services, Inc., a regional internet service provider specializing in complete corporate internet solutions. With clients such as Compaq and Marathon Oil, Insync became the number one fastest growing technology company on the 1998 Houston 100 Fastest Growing Companies list.
Prior to Insync Internet Services, Inc., Broadnax founded AllSource Incorporated, a systems integration company that provided computer consulting and computer systems sales and support. Within the first three years, AllSource ranked second on the list of Houston’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies.
Before joining the technology industry in 1992, Broadnax spend 20 years as a photojournalist, including stringing for the AP and UPI, teaching photojournalism at Texas Southern University in Houston, and spending 11 years on the staff of the Houston Post. At the Post, he progressed rapidly to become the director of photography, and achieved the distinction of being the fastest promoted photographer in the history of the Post.
Broadnax has received numerous awards of distinction, including the Small Businessperson of the Year award given by the Houston Small Business Association in 1999, and he has twice been a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Broadnax currently serves on the board of a number businesses and charitable organizations including the Houston Technology Center and the University of Houston’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
