Oco CEO and Founder
George is the founder of Oco, Inc. He is actively involved in product development, process evaluations, and partner relations. His unique vision has ensured Oco's place at the forefront of the information integration revolution he has helped create. Using his business experience coupled with a deep understanding of technology, George recognized the common problem with business visibility and founded Oco to we drive down through all the layers to extract the information critical to building superior business value.
Before founding Oco in 1999, George held a number of business positions. George worked at Zenith Data Systems from 1988 to 1991 - at the time the world’s largest laptop manufacturer - in sales and sales management. He then founded and led the technology and music magazine, Midi.
From 1995 – 1998, George held a number of positions for Watermill Ventures, a leveraged buyout firm and a mini-conglomerate. George served as the chief technology officer for all the portfolio companies, totaling $1.8 billion in annual sales. At the same time George was instrumental in determining which companies to buy, served on each company’s board of directors, and helped to raise the private equity to fund them. In 1998, George then helped turn around two manufacturing and distribution businesses.
