Michael Margolis

Michael Margolis is responsible for technology strategy and the roadmap to define and create the bridge between conventional telecommunications platforms and next generation VoIP and multimedia solutions.
He has held positions as technical director at Global Communications Ltd., where he was responsible for designing and implementing solutions, including a multimedia processing platform, for clients such as IBM and Intel.
He began his career at the Sony Corporation in the U.K., where he helped adapt the Trinitron(R) television for operation in Europe, and worked in product management, where he was responsible for launching the Sony Walkman in the U.K.
At Sony, he also served as manager of new business, where he was responsible for several product introductions, including compact discs, digital cameras and computer systems. He has dual citizenship in the U.S. and the U.K., and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University in New York.
