Michael D. Jenkins
Roninsoft
Author

The author of Wall Street Raider and Small Business Advisor, Michael Jenkins, is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the Harvard Law School. He has practiced as an economics and financial consultant in D.C. and L.A. with Economics Research Associates, as a CPA in L.A. and Newport Beach with Peat, Marwick, and several years as a tax attorney in San Francisco with Cooley, Godward, Castro, Huddleson and Tatum, before becoming an author.

He also practiced as a CPA and as a tax partner with the Bay Area CPA firm of Kimbell, McKenna and von Kaschnitz, in Alameda, California, in the early 1980s, after publishing his first book, Starting and Operating a Business in California, in 1980. Since 1981, he has authored the Starting and Operating a Business series of small business guidebooks for each of the 50 states and D.C., with various publishers. The series is currently published in electronic format (e-books with included Windows software that customizes the book for the user's specific business), by Ronin Software (www.roninsoft.com). Each state's 2006 or 2007 edition is approximately 500 pages, if printed out.
